Today's guest is Lori Garver. Lori is a leading figure in the US space program and a frequent contributor to the public dialogue on national civil space policy. She was the Deputy Administrator at NASA from 2009 to 2013, under President Obama. She is also the Founder of Earthrise Alliance, Co-Founder of Brooke Owens Fellowship and an Operating Advisor at Bessemer Venture Partners. Her new book Escaping Gravity: My Quest to Transform NASA and Launch a New Space Age just came out.
