Its the abbreviated for Figure of Speech.

It is one of the poetic device used by the poets to make the poem look and sound beautiful.

I would like to share one:

PERSONIFICATION: It actually is used to give the non-living things give a human/ living quality.

Several examples I would like to share which are my favorite:

1. "The fan is tired of working since past few days": Here the Fan is said to be "tired" as it is given a human quality.
2. "I got a sun-kissed picture today": Here "kiss" is a human quality hence, Sun is personified.
3. " My vehicle grumbled and didn't start" : Here grumbled is a human quality, hence, vehicle is being personified.
