Trained at 美国哈佛大学 in both internal medicine and orthopedic surgery and at 美国斯坦福大学 in general surgery, he is a world-renowned expert in biologic and robotic joint replacement. He is the best-selling author of Play Forever: How to Recover from Injury & Thrive . He has served the U.S. Ski Team, the U.S. Pro Ski Tour, the Marin Ballet, and the U.S. Olympic Training Center. His innovative work in the orthopedic arena has led to multiple awards, publications, and grants and has resulted in approximately fifty issued U.S. patents.
