Never really thought much of fortune cookies and what it offered, but today was an interesting one that I would need to keep as a reminder.

Here was the fortune: Courtesy is one of the best peacemakers

But I want to change one word and that is: Curiosity is one of the best peacemakers

Too many times my mind goes straight to how could I resolve this current issue or problem, but when the first things to do is be curious on multiple levels to see what the real issue is. Curiosity leads you to a path that you may not have considered or it opens up more avenues of understanding the issues as well as finding new ways for the solution. In many cases it may not even need a solution, just to know and understand while accepting might be all that is needed.
