Forthcoming Change of Role for Steve Hall

Forthcoming Change of Role for Steve Hall

Dear colleagues - as some of you already know, I'll be moving on from my job at the National Oceanography Centre at the end of March, starting 1st April as the next CEO of the Society for Underwater Technology (www.sut.org). I'm very much looking forward to taking on this role, having supported SUT over many years, particularly in the education and public engagement areas of our work.

It is always a pleasure to enthuse the next generation about our amazing and beautiful Ocean Planet, and the many opportunities that exist to develop a career working in a wide range of ocean technology areas, and I will work hard to grow a broad family of enthusiastic individual and corporate Members in what is a time of great change and innovation, offering new ways to sustainably harvest ocean resources for the benefit of all.

Congratulations Steve. NOC's loss is SUT's gain.
