Welcome

As our studio transitioned into the new year, we were thrilled to round out this season's Nike Football campaign by designing the final city-wide takeover of Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII. In other exciting sport-related news, we collaborated with the team at Status Pro to visualize the second edition of their NFL-licensed VR game, Pro Era—featuring Lamar Jackson. In some arts and culture related news, we worked with the wonderful people at Condé?Nast to design titles for a three-part series for Vogue with support from W Hotels. The series produced three shorts that?captured the vibrant cultural scenes in New Orleans, Budapest and Osaka.

Additionally, we were brought on by the Los Angeles based bookstore and imprint Des Pair, to design a beautifully dark monograph for fine artist Catherine Mulligan. Speaking of books, we always love to be a part of print as well! First up, a tiny thought from our studio has been featured in a tiny book from the not-so-tiny people of The Brand Identity. Secondly, our work has been included in a gorgeous tome on serif typography from the prolific folks at Victionary. Last but not least, we are super excited and proud to announce that we've released our first studio font BPM, with our good friends over at The Designers Foundry—fully variable with trial weights available now!

Nike Football - Super Bowl LVIII

Viva Las Vegas

After collaborating with Nike on the 2023-24 NFL campaign identity, Forth+Back was then given the opportunity to unify the newly-created Nike assets with the overhead branding for the NFL’s Super Bowl LVIII. The campaign aimed to generate enthusiasm and awareness for this year’s location—Las Vegas.




Status Pro - Pro Era II

NFL in VR

Introducing Pro Era II—the second NFL-licensed offering from VR gaming company Status Pro. Their aim is to create the world's most authentic and immersive gaming products, designed to help players and coaches unlock the ultimate strategic advantage, while simultaneously allowing fans to see and experience what it's like to be a pro.



Vogue x W Hotels

Through a New Lens

Through the first-of-its-kind PhotoVogue residency program, Vogue and W Hotels came together to develop a platform that allows artists to explore their craft by immersing themselves in a new environment. Commissioning three photographers from the PhotoVogue community to capture the vibrant cultural scenes in New Orleans, Budapest and Osaka, these artists highlight the cultures that thrive around the W hotels set within the heart of these global cities.



Variable Typeface - BPM

BPM (Beats Per Minute) is an extended typeface with a subtle reverse contrast. Inspired by digital and analog audio engineering brands and interfaces, BPM’s melodic roots can be seen in the swooping construction of the characters. Each letter extends and at times dip and rise depending on their respective forms, creating a sort of rhythmic harmony when in use.



Des Pair Books - Catherine Mulligan

Catherine Mulligan is a fine artist whose work plays with the tropes and traditions of gender standards, commerciality, and current culture. Working with the book publisher Des Pair Books, our studio designed a monograph of her work spanning a handful of years.
