Fort Bend County is Growing How Big?

First…Happy New Year!!! While 2022 didn’t turn out to be as planned, we saw amazing things in the Fort Bend County Real Estate World. Fort Bend's population is approaching 900,000 residents and over the next 30 years, we expect to see that double.

We saw 3 major developments announced such as Austin Point, Brookewater, and Starbridge to name a few. These 3 represent nearly 20,000 residential homes in the next 5+ years. This doesn’t include the homes developers are currently building.

So what does this mean for you? Well, if you are in the market to buy a home, now is the time. With each new home sold, a new mark is set and builders will use this to continue raising prices. At the same time, as a homeowner, values will continue to rise moderately. With so many people moving into the area, now is the time to make your move!
