Forest through the trees

I am wondering, what would make people want to reach out to me? With 3+ decades of professional experience, career shifts and umpteen certifications it's hard to tell. So let me break it down, then get back to the real reason I am here - to support you.

Tag line: "Partnering with People leaders to create a culture where everyone is thriving". Organically my focus has been shifting to people leaders or leaders of transformation initiatives that impact many to all people in an organisation. They are in leadership, HR/P&C/L&D, change or coaching roles. Together, we get you unstuck to grow and improve your life and those around you.

Tag line: "EMCC Senior accredited coach" My UCD Smurfit masters diploma in executive coaching fast tracked this accreditation. "Senior" requires 5 years and 250 hours of supervised professional coaching. I have 8 years and well over 600 hours.

It comes from an idiom that means "understand or appreciate a larger situation, problem" and not to just "look at the trees" (Mirriam-Webster). Let's understand the complex adaptive problems and systems before taking action so that more problems and unintended consequences do not arise.

I have facilitated and designed 100's of workshops and learning experiences from weekly to mutli-year strategic planning, culture and operating model development, leadership off-sites, leadership & team development, adaptive ways of working courses and workshops, 1-2 day project kickoffs, and innovation sprints.

I am certified to teach Coaching and Facilitation (2019-2020). The courses contain material for and by professional facilitators, teachers (tbr), coaches and mentors to reach learning outcomes through interactive activities and practice.

I found my love of facilitation and teaching after I learned human centered design and design thinking in 2014, then teaching kids how to use it to learn how to code an app to solve a problem from someone they cared about. They learned & applied it quicker than most adults!

Koren Stark, I love that you've outlined the significant experience you have, and while I've only shared the journey with you to complete one of your many certifications, it was clear to me the depth of experience, depth of care, and depth of understanding of what is happening with and in people that you have.
