Employee relations issues can take time and cost if not handled correctly, why not get the experts in?

Employee relations matters in a business can not only be time-consuming, but extremely complex. These can range from disciplinaries, grievances, long-term sickness absence cases, and complex employee exits, amongst many other areas.

Following correct and legal processes takes time. The first fundamental step in most of these processes is an investigation, this alone can be exhausting and distracting for a business owner. Following this, the formal stages of the relevant procedure commence, involving formal meetings and the potential need for witness statements to be taken. Once that is all over, the employee could potentially appeal, and this could instigate a similar repeat process.

As a business owner, not only do you need to be following the appropriate processes above, but also make sure you are making the right decisions for your business.

ForrestHR’s support allows you to tap into our knowledge and expertise in a variety of ways and be led by highly qualified HR specialists, who are up to speed with the latest legislative changes.

MHFA Refresher Training Importance of keeping skills and knowledge up to date

There’s a growing mental health crisis in the UK with one in four adults experience mental illness each year. Though talking about mental health has become much more common, there can still be a real stigma when it comes to the workplace. As a result, many employees don’t speak up until they’re really struggling to cope which can result in stress and burnout.

The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Refresher course gives MHFA Qualified Managers the chance to renew their skills and update their knowledge of mental health support to utilise in the workplace. If you would like to find out more or book your place with our strategic partners, West Kent Mind, please contact us here. [email protected]
