Former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt Reviewing The United Nations Human's Rights Declaration!
In a dramatic and celebrated act of conscience, Eleanor Roosevelt resigned from the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) when it barred the world-renowned singer Marian Anderson, an African American, from performing at its Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. Following this well-publicized controversy, the federal government invited Anderson to sing at a public recital on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. On Easter Sunday, April 9, 1939, some 75,000 plus people came to hear the free recital. The incident put both the artist and the issue of racial discrimination in the national spotlight.

Happy New Year greetings, my brothers and sisters of God's inspirational grace, and may God continue to smile upon each of you and give you peace in this Covid-19 pandemic era against its elusive Delta and Omicron variants.

Today I give my sincerest thanks to the legal staff at the United States Institutes of Diplomacy and Human Rights, Washington, DC, United States of America, for the opportunity to complete these courses and seminars with worldwide leaders in the field and on the front lines advocating for others' human rights.

The General Assembly accepted the Declaration of Human Rights as Resolution 217,?during its third session on December 10, 1948, at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, France. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt of the United States of America is credited with being instrumental in mustering support for the Declaration's adoption, both in the USA and worldwide, with her ability to appeal to different and often opposing political blocs.

At the time of the Declaration's adoption by the General Assembly in 1948, Eleanor Roosevelt, a representative from the USA to the United Nation's General Assembly, said (paraphrased): In giving our approval to the Declaration today, it is of primary importance that we keep clearly in mind the fundamental character of the document. It is not a treaty or an international agreement. It does not purport to be a statement of law or legal obligation. Instead, it is a declaration of basic human rights and freedoms principles. It's stamped with the approval of the General Assembly formal vote of its members and serves as a common standard of achievement for all peoples of all nations.

She also supported the Tuskegee African American airman after her husband and President Roosevelt passed the law to expand the air corp. The Tuskegee Airmen are known as the Red-Tailed US Airforce Fighter Pilots and Bombers of WW II, who achieved various distinctions for the service of bravery. She also resigned from the Daughters of American Revolution, when they barred the world-renowned singer Marian Anderson, an African American, from performing at its Constitution Hall in Washington, DC.

Following this well-publicized controversy, the federal government invited Anderson to sing at a public recital on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. On Easter Sunday, April 9, 1939, some 75,000 plus people attended her concert. The incident put both the artist and the issue of racial discrimination in the national spotlight. She joined the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in 1934 and advocated against Jim Crow law and racial discrimination.

First lady Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962), wife of Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945), the longest-reigning USA president in office, from 1933 - 1945, was a leader in her own right and involved in numerous humanitarian causes throughout her life.

Many countries have adopted the Human Rights Resolution as the law and a part of their constitution. The United States of America adopted many of its resolutions as Constitutional Amendments, now included in all American states and jurisdictions as the law.

I pray for God's hands to touch humanity, especially your hometown, and erase all traces of Covid-19 infections and deaths from my brothers and sisters. I also pray for God to touch you and your loved one to defeat Covid-19, pandemic Delta, and Omicron variants and be a shining light to fill others with His grace.

May God's richest grace and mercy, which surpassed all understanding rest, abide with you, my dear brothers and sisters, your loved ones, endeavors, and family members always.

The higher reality of consciousness enhances peace, love, harmony, and happiness in our hearts with actions we connectively and collectively accomplish through faith.
