A Simple Tool, A Life-Changing Journey

My journey began with a rickety android phone, which I jokingly referred to as a "phone without the smart part." Despite its limitations, this device became my gateway to achieving what once seemed impossible. With it, I completed the rigorous 1 Million Teachers Blackbelt program and graduated on February 22, 2023, alongside over 150 other Blackbelts, attaining my 1st Dan status. That same phone saw me through the HP MAT 3 Mentorship program, where I graduated on July 23, 2023. These milestones were more than achievements—they were affirmations that determination and resourcefulness could overcome any limitation.

Overcoming Adversity: My First Mentorship Session

One of the defining moments of my journey was my first-ever session as a mentor for the Blackbelts Weekly Program on August 31, 2023. As I prepared to speak on "What It Means to Be a 1 Million Teachers Blackbelt," my phone suddenly went blank just two minutes before the session. Panic set in momentarily, but I refused to give up. I powered the phone back on and proceeded with passion and commitment. That same phone became my design tool, helping me create my PowerPoint presentation using a simple WPS app. These struggles were shaping me, preparing me for greater challenges and opportunities ahead.

The Power of Mentorship and Support

No journey is undertaken alone. I owe much of my progress to incredible mentors who guided and inspired me—Hajiya Khadijah Abdulwahab, Hajiya Fatimah Ogunjimi , Ms. Rizma Butt , Mr. Hakeem Subair , and Hajiya Hadiza Nuhu Baba Yusuf. Their words were seeds planted in fertile soil, fueling my determination. They taught me that perseverance and purpose always lead to success, no matter how daunting the path might seem.

A New Tool, A New World of Possibilities

Receiving a laptop as a gift was transformative—it became my gateway to new learning opportunities. I immersed myself in mastering artificial intelligence, emotional intelligence, data analytics, creative design, leadership, social media marketing, and customer service. My goal was never to collect certificates but to equip myself with knowledge to thrive and empower others.

Reaching New Heights: The 3rd Dan Achievement

On July 20, 2024, another milestone was achieved—I was honored with the rank of 3rd Dan during the Kano 3rd Blackbelt graduation ceremony. It was a powerful reminder that every action, no matter how small, is seen and valued. Mr. Hakeem Subair’s words that day ignited a new fire within me, reinforcing that my journey was not just about personal success but about inspiring others to believe in themselves.

Dreaming Bigger: Writing My First Book & Entrepreneurship

With renewed energy, I set even higher goals. One was writing my first book, which I completed and sent for reviews by January 18, 2025—my birthday. This accomplishment was proof that daring to dream big and staying committed leads to remarkable achievements. Alongside this, I ventured into entrepreneurship, officially registering my small-scale business, DAPRINCE SOLUTIONS, on July 29, 2024. This venture was more than a business; it was a means to create opportunities, inspire, and uplift others.

Sharing My Story: Inspiring Others Through Public Speaking

Throughout my journey, I have spoken at various seminars and intellectual exchanges—not for recognition but to inspire others. My message remains clear: no matter the challenges, you have the power to overcome them. The fire within you is greater than any obstacle. Believe in yourself, commit to your goals, and move forward with courage, even when the path is uncertain.
