Forget the pitch. Listen more speak less.

Forget the pitch. Listen more speak less.

Forget the pitch. Listen more & speak less.

Most people think business is about making money. But, as I have learned it is about relationships. It is about nothing more.

The importance of relationships in business

In business, relationships are everything. The better your relationships are with your clients, coworkers, and superiors, the more successful you will be. Good relationships lead to increased sales, higher productivity, and a better work environment. Conversely, bad relationships can lead to decreased sales, lower productivity, and a toxic work environment.

Building strong relationships is essential to success in business. There are many ways to build strong relationships, but some of the most important things you can do are:

  • Be reliable and consistent
  • Keep your promises
  • Communicate effectively
  • Be respectful
  • Show appreciation

If you want to be successful in business, start by building strong relationships. It's the key to success.

Why the best strategy is to always be nice

The best strategy is always to be nice because it is the most effective way to build and maintain relationships. When you are nice, people are more likely to trust you, respect you, and want to work with you. Being rude or difficult will only make people avoid you, which will make it harder to succeed in business.

Why the worst thing to do is to

When it comes to business, the worst thing you can do is to take your relationships for granted. Your network is your most valuable asset, and if you don't nurture and invest in those relationships, they will wither away.

It's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind and forget to stay in touch with your contacts, but that's a mistake that will cost you in the long run. Investing time and energy into your relationships will pay off when you need a favor or a referral down the road.

So don't neglect your relationships - instead, make them a priority and watch as your business thrives as a result.

How to maintain relationships

It's no secret that business is all about relationships. Whether you're dealing with customers, suppliers, or partners, maintaining positive relationships is essential to keeping your business running smoothly. Here are a few tips on how to maintain relationships in business:

1. Communicate regularly. Keeping lines of communication open is key to any relationship, and this is especially true in business. Make sure you're staying in touch with your contacts regularly, whether it's through email, phone calls, or face-to-face meetings.

2. Be responsive. When someone reaches out to you, make sure you respond in a timely manner. Ignoring or forgetting about someone will only damage the relationship.

3. Be honest and transparent. People appreciate honesty and transparency, so make sure you're always upfront with your contacts. Don't try to hide anything or mislead them in any way - it will only backfire eventually.

4. Keep your promises. If you say you're going to do something, make sure you follow through on your word. Breaking promises will damage trust and make it difficult to rebuild the relationship later on.

5. Be respectful. Treating others with respect is essential in any relationship, but especially so in business. Remember that everyone has different needs and expectations, so try to be understanding and accommodating when possible

Forget all the youtube videos and sales tools, tips and tricks

If you're looking for tips and tricks to help you close more sales, you're going to be disappointed. Business is simple, it's about relationships. The best way to build relationships is to be genuine and authentic. Show an interest in the other person and what they do. Be yourself and let the other person get to know you. If you can build a strong relationship, the sale will take care of itself.

Everything is not a pitch, listen more speak less and deliver

If you want to be successful in business, it is important to remember that not everything is a pitch. You need to listen more and speak less in order to build strong relationships with your clients and customers. When you deliver on your promises, they will be more likely to trust and recommend you to others.

When we meet someone new, our first instinct is to pitch them on our product or service. However, in most cases, this is not the best approach. Instead, try to listen more and speak less. Ask them questions about their business and their needs. By truly understanding their situation, you'll be in a much better position to deliver a solution that meets their needs. And when you do pitch them, you'll be able to do so with confidence, knowing that you have a deep understanding of their business.
