Forget this and get zero profits
“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work, & give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast & endless sea.”
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry 1900-1944
A coach posted:
??????"On [date], I'm going live and will talk about [Product/Program] and I'm sure you'll get loads of value and benefit from this, you're going to love it! The replay will be posted in the group, but be sure to attend live!"
??????This coach is talking about a "paid" program.
A??????nd on the "live" date itself...
??????Zero.????? Nada. Zilch.??????
No one attended the live event nor engaged in that post.
There was one comment, the one who posted it.??????
?????It's sad and it pisses me off because I see this happen a lot.
??????Don't get me wrong. I'm not posting this to mock anyone.
??????I, myself, don't get that much engagement on my posts, but coming from someone with a Facebook Group and a following?
??????Someone that has produced results?
??????You see...
??????Your call to action is not an order or a command people will blindly follow.
??????Philip Kotler defined marketing as
"Satisfying needs and wants through an exchange process".
But an exchange won't take place if no needs or at least see the need for what you're offering.
??????I see this with a lot of course creators and coaches.
They stay on the sidelines, waiting for people to come to them. Afraid to come off as "Salesy".??????
I mean, that's logical thing to do right? but you don't have to be 'salesy' with what you're offering.
??????The thing is...
.??????..You've invested in your training
.??????..You've focused on learning, and being the best you can be.
.??????..Some even dedicated their lives mastering their crafts, why put it to waste?
??????So before investing time and effort in coming up with a product that you "think" your market wants and needs.
??????Validate your offer.
??????Ask your market.
??????Once verified and you know that people can & will benefit from your offer, don't be afraid to sell.
??????You're doing a massive disservice to your market by not showing up and selling them the solution to their problems.
??????Now, if you have a following, there's a simple way of verifying if there's a need for your offer.
??????So simple you'd think it won't work.
??????Want to know what it is?
All you have to do is Ask.
