We’re building our Leo Series DAC modules at our new facility in Mesa, Arizona—the world’s first and only DAC manufacturing facility! See our CEO Adrian Corless explain why we chose Mesa for this extension of our business and how support from Greater Phoenix Economic Council helped drive our decision. We’re looking forward to building great things in the greater Phoenix area! Watch -> https://lnkd.in/gEnjFJkU #cityofmesa #climateaction #innovation

We recently teamed up with TreePeople for a team event that was both meaningful and fun! A group of CarbonCapture volunteers spent the morning helping TreePeople care for young trees, supporting their growth to help reduce urban heat in Los Angeles. TreePeople equips communities with the tools, plants, and education to make Southern California’s urban and mountain canopies greener, healthier, and more sustainable. Climate action takes many forms, and we’re proud to support the vital work TreePeople does to create a more climate-resilient environment. #ClimateAction #Sustainability #Decarbonization #TreePeople?

The Department of Energy’s recent Notice of Intent (NOI) to fund commercial DAC projects is exactly the boost the industry needs. By providing non-dilutive capital, this funding will accelerate the construction of multiple DAC facilities, driving innovation and helping to meet the growing demand for carbon removal solutions. ? But the impact goes beyond DAC alone. This investment will ignite a broader supply chain, including manufacturers of sorbents, fans, electrical systems, and heat pumps—creating waves of innovation and new job opportunities. ? In our view, rapidly deploying undiluted CAPEX funding for the construction of many different-sized commercial DAC facilities is the most effective strategy to help the industry grow and achieve profitability in the near term. Climate Week NYC?is underway, and our team is excited to connect with visionary leaders in business and policy who are working to advance direct air capture.?Top of mind for us this week: The DOE’s recent announcement of up to?$1.8 billion?to scale DAC technologies. Our team in NYC—Adrian Corless, Patricia Loria, MBA and MNR, Aidin Sadr, and?Matthew Bright—is eager to discuss how this NOI can accelerate deployment of DAC, by getting funds into the hands of developers out the door as quickly as possible. #ClimateWeekNYC #CarbonRemoval #DirectAirCapture #ClimateAction #Sustainability #Innovation

We're proud of our collaboration with Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund and Siemens, two key partners in scaling direct air capture (DAC) technology. We're working tirelessly to innovate and bring scalable DAC to market and we thank Amazon, Nick Ellis, Siemens, and The Climate Pledge for their support. Read the Q&A with Nick about how The Climate Pledge is both a demand driver and accelerator for businesses like ours! #climateaction #innovation #directaircapture
Nick Ellis—a Principal at the Climate Pledge Fund—is tasked with finding startups with the potential to create breakthrough technologies that will help companies reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. But scaling those startups at the urgent rate our planet needs can be a challenge. The Climate Pledge Fund and The Climate Pledge signatory Siemens were both early investors in the direct air capture startup CarbonCapture Inc. The Climate Pledge Fund—a $2 billion dollar fund—and Siemens were able to help the startup by providing the investment, infrastructure, and technological capabilities it needed to scale.
