The Forged Future of HRE Wheels

The supply chain disruptions have impacted all industries, especially multinational businesses, and the automotive aftermarket is no exception. With port delays, ocean freight and land transportation costs escalating, price increases for goods have followed but demand has kept on growing. After record sales for HRE Wheels worldwide, the company continues to strongly invest and focus its effort on strengthening the business and continuing to seize the opportunities in the Australian market.

As we are all experiencing unprecedented times right now as Australia starts to reopen and the economy continues to recover, it's key to note the effort from global automotive companies such as HRE Wheels to satisfy consumer needs amid increased lead times and logistic operations costs.

All these emerging roadblocks for international businesses in a growing market are a clear example of the impact that operations and strategic partners have on business sustainability.

Nevertheless, beyond pushing the boundaries in design and manufacturing technology, HRE is taking action to address the variables in their control, starting by expanding its production line to meet the spur in the demand not only in Australia but globally.

To match the effort in production growth while meeting the quality standards set by the company itself, HRE is expanding and remodelling its facilities, implementing new technologies, including some secret projects we can’t talk about yet.

With multiple wheel design options to suit each customer's bespoke application for their vehicle, HRE continues to develop new designs for the HRE Forged and HRE FlowForm wheel ranges, leveraging from its industry-leading capabilities like its proprietary one-piece forged barrel technology, FMR?, that they introduced to the car world.

For automotive enthusiasts just like myself, even with all the current challenges we continue to face, I am still nothing short of excited to see companies continue to develop and innovate their operations and product offerings. This is nothing short of exciting for what the future holds in the automotive aftermarket industry domestically and abroad.
