No foreigner has ever seen it「mount fuji japan」
I go to mount fuji every year for a different reason than other Japanese.
It is to participate in one of the largest bicycle races in Japan. In this article, I would like to share with you a view of Mt. Fuji that you would not be able to see if you lived abroad. Fuji has attractions that cannot be seen only by sightseeing.
Fuji is a fun mountain to just climb normally. Every year, as many as 10,000 road bike riders gather to climb the mountain in the fastest time.
It turns into a grand festival. I, too, train hard for 4 to 5 hours a day to earn the title of the fastest.

On a personal note, my best result is 4th in this competition. I have won other competitions.

If you want to stay at Mt. Fuji, I recommend a guest house rather than a hotel.
I feel that staying at an inn every year is more enjoyable than staying at an expensive hotel because of the connections with the people at a slightly older guest house. Many people in rural areas of Japan are friendly. Even if the facilities are not perfect, they will treat you as if you are back home. It can be a more relaxing place than home.

Udon noodles are delicious!
Fuji, you must try udon. There are many kinds of udon in Japan, but the "Hoto Udon" available at Mt.
Fuji. The noodles are large and filling. The broth has a gentle taste. The vegetables and the warm broth are heartwarming. The restaurant's interior also creates an ancient Japanese atmosphere that is sure to satisfy.
In 2024 we will have a festival or something on June 1-2.
Fuji's foothills do festivals and such. It is rare to see such an appearance. The main booths will be bicycle booths, but you can also taste gourmet food.
Celebrities also come to the festival, so it's a lot of fun.
Hot battle on a rainy day
Finally, about the race. A heated battle will be held to determine the strongest in the country. The one who runs the fastest will be the winner.
One piece of advice I can give you is that you should not be complacent about the weather on Mt. The photo shows the Samurai spirit, which allows us to wear light clothing, but it is usually not possible. Be sure to bring heavy clothing.
