Foreign Experts Conference Taian, Sep. 7-9, 2018

Taian, a city located in Shandong province, is hosting an event that will bring together key local Chinese businesses and International foreign experts. As an emerging ecologically-friendly industrial city, Taian is rapidly emerging as a first-choice location in China for specific key industries.

Due to this unique trait of being ecologically friendly, the Taian municipal government,along with the National Bureau of Foreign Affairs, the Shandong provincial Bureau of Human Resources, and the Social Security Area (Shandong Provincial Bureau of Foreign Affairs), are announcing this important International Event that can offer mutual benefits to all participating parties.

Taian is interested in identifying 100 key global experts in general management, as well as technological expertise in the specific industries noted below. More than 200 local Chinese companies will be in attendance with the intention of identifying an expert resource to help them solve their specific business issues.

Each and every expert will be provided with an interpreter and a vendor booth whereby they can share their company/institution’s marketing materials. Local Chinese businesspersons and the hosts will either schedule a meeting time or stop by your booth to introduce their specific needs and discuss any potential for further discussions. (Further discussions at a later date, via a signature on a Red Letter of Intention, can be worked in cooperation with the host, as the local consulting company and resource.

The purpose of this conference is to

(1) Promote cooperation between local and international companies;

(2) Discuss specific local business issues and benefiting from foreign expertise in synergy;

(3)Identify specific projects that can be contracted with foreign experts;

(4) Launch a platform from which intellectual and creative problem solving methods can be shared;

(5) Foster an open policy of cooperation for future opportunities.

How do you apply:

It should be noted that this conference is by invitation only and you must be chosen from your submitted Resume/CV. Please send it to Sarah: [email protected]. If you have any potential projects you want to bring to China, please list them in the document.

(1) The local Taian government will pre-approve all foreign experts and pre-match your skills with local companies and provide feedback ASAP

(2) After you submit your necessary paperwork and receive the Invitation Letter from the government, you must work to secure a Travel Visa ASAP (Contact may be given to assist) and provide us your flight information (Economy class), we’ll pre book it for you.

(3) Once VISA approved and you send back a signed China Invitation Letter, you are reserved for the conference. (Any unforeseen difficulties, i.e. Sickness ，scheduling conflict，or other events, you shall bear the costs of the trip including but not limited to; marketing materials, Interpreters, Airfare and Hotel cancellation fees)

What we will cover:

All conference related fees including

(1) International/National round-trip coach airfare (any upgrades requested will be out-of-pocket on you)

(2) Hotel accommodations expenses (In Beijing only Sep. 6th and Sept 9th exactly with breakfast included) along with 2 nights in Taian（Sep. 7th, and Sep. 8th）.

(3) Local in-country transportation and meals during the conference would be covered.

(4) Any reimbursement outside of the terms above, is at the discretion of the host, and will be done in Local RMB (Yuan) where you may spend it or exchange it at the airport for your local currency, as other outside currency is not used within China, so we do not have access to it)

(5)Costs incurred by you include, but not limited too; Passport Fee, Visa Fee,Flight insurance, Airport transportation, Parking at Airport, Souvenirs and anything else outside of Sponsored Event.
