Foreclosure-Shmorclosure. You can own a home again NOW.
Unless you’ve been living on a remote island since the mid-2000s with no contact with the modern world, you probably know what’s happened in the US during the last Recession. The financial market chaos triggered by the bursting of the bubble led to a collapse in business investment. Millions of US working people lost their jobs, and as a result, their homes. Lenders were not willing to modify the loan to make the payments more feasible to get them through this horrible time, and this was a heartbreaking process for a Mortgage Loan Officer such as myself to watch. Some of the lucky ones were able to short-sell their homes, but still at a cost of the inevitable credit damage.
Over the last few years we have watched the US economy has carefully and painstakingly mending itself, home values are on the rise again, and homeowners who lost their homes along with millions of others are ready to own a home again. I am talking to YOU: YOU, who has carefully been saving up for a downpayment. You, who has diligently re-built your credit. YOU are READY. You are done paying someone else’s mortgage, and want a piece of your own land again. The big disillusion comes in when you’re told that you still don’t qualify for a home loan, since you lost your home less than 7 years ago. Former foreclosures are no joke and are looked at very seriously, but there are lenders I work with who are willing to overlook the foreclosure and lend an affordable mortgage. You just have to know who they are.
If you are ready to own your own home, but don’t think you can qualify because of a past Foreclosure or a Short Sale - CALL ME. If you are a Realtor, and you had a transaction fall out because your client was denied a loan last minute - CALL ME. I have helped hundreds in this situation, and I can help YOU. I specialize in after-Foreclosure lending and exception-based Mortgages for other credit events. You do NOT need to wait 7 years to own a home again, you can buy NOW.

8 年Love the use of "shm" my colleagues and I joke around with the "shm" all the time. Great info in the article, more people should say "how can we" rather than state why they can't.
