Twelve new charities backed by The Fore

Our Autumn 2023 Funding Round has come to a close and we are excited to introduce 12 new small charities and social enterprises now funded by The Fore. These exceptional organisations working across the UK will receive unrestricted grants and gain access to our networks, skills and support.

From Your Stance teaching young people at risk of violence to save lives, to SAMEE giving people with disabilities the skills to enter self-employment, these charities have been selected based on their visionary leadership and high-impact ?solutions. The Fore's funding will catalyse their potential to transform lives and society.

Many of the charities we support rely on our network of skilled volunteers for expertise across all areas. Please get in touch if you'd like to be connected with any of our new or existing charities.

Business change?expert mentors charity on?strategy

Clare Singleton?one of our skilled volunteers has supported several of our charities over the years. Most recently Clare has been advising and supporting Organisation of Young Africans, a charity which?support young people and their families of African and African-Caribbean heritage.

Claire has been offering guidance on how to secure the long-term future and adapt and thrive in a challenging funding environment. "I am delighted if my business experience is able to give them some new perspectives and support to help them develop" - Clare Singleton.

Giving charities access to external expertise can often catalyse change in a way that a grant alone cannot. Inspired? Explore our latest skilled volunteering opportunities at the end of this month's issue.

Our charity network are sticking together this winter

Running a charity can be extremely lonely, so in times of unprecedented charity leader burnout, feeling connected with peers is priceless. The Fore hosts regular peer to peer dinners for our leaders in different locations around the UK – this November it was Bella Pasta in London. We are always delighted to see our charities share experiences, discuss sector insights and build useful connections but we’re even happier when they’re the last to leave the restaurant! Enormous thanks to @The Big Table Group for sponsoring.
