Welcome to The Forecast - our monthly newsletter spotlighting exciting skilled volunteer opportunities and small charity insights.


Do you have 2-3 days a month??Would you like to share your strategic skills with some of the UK's most exciting small charity leaders and social entrepreneurs? Join us as a freelance Strategic Applicant Consultant.

Consultants are at the frontline of our?assessment process, helping to identify and coach the best charities that qualify support from The Fore.

Our consultants typically have?over ten?years of experience in strategic leadership positions. Time commitment required is 8-10 days?of remote work over 12 weeks. We?offer full training and?a low-bono model where consultants are paid per application assessed.

Lydia is a Social Impact Associate at BlackRock, a partner of The Fore since 2017. Over six conversations, she helped Youth Leads UK create crucial marketing materials for developing new partnerships.

Meet the leader inspiring the next generation to act on climate change?

Join us on Friday 13th September at 1-1:45pm for a lunchtime talk with Rhianna Davies-Smith, Director of Wicked Weather Watch (WWW) and The Fore's Mary Rose Gunn.?

Arctic temperatures have increased 4x faster than the rest of the world in the past decade because of human-caused factors.

WWW transforms eco-anxiety into empowerment. Through conversations in classrooms with polar explorers, they are turning education into meaningful carbon-cutting action. WWW?also give teachers the tools to integrate climate change into the curriculum.
