Ford Puma ?? Facelift
Ford presented today the new Puma – a high-tech evolution of the best-selling car in Great Britain and the best-selling Ford in Europe in recent years, manufactured exclusively in the Ford Otosan factory in Craiova.
The interior of the new Ford Puma is completely new, with the driver having two large screens at his disposal, while the physical buttons have been reduced to a minimum.
Customers can use 5G connectivity either to use real-time traffic data or for system updates or connection to the Ford Pass app. Also, beyond Sync 4, the infotainment system that can receive updates over the air, and other car modules can be updated without visits to the service.
Sophisticated new-generation technologies allow more natural driving with the cruise control activated, which is able to slow down before intersections and turns, and the new Dynamic Matrix LED headlights help drivers see better at night.
The engine line-up now consists only of versions of the 1.0 EcoBoost engine, including a 170 hp version for the top ST version. Ford also announced today that the all-electric Puma Gen-E will be introduced later this year – the first Puma to allow zero-emission driving.

Two generously sized screens keep the level of information high for drivers and allow easy control over all systems. The 12.8-inch digital instrument cluster can be customized to display the information each driver finds useful, while the high-resolution 12.0-inch center touchscreen makes it easy to view and control maps, multimedia and functions such as air conditioning and seat heating.
The new SYNC 4 multimedia system has twice the computing power of the previous version and adapts to facilitate access to the functions most used by drivers. Voice recognition understands natural language, and smartphones can be easily connected wirelessly using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto 7, and also recharged wirelessly. In addition, it comes with the Romanian language.
The B&O audio system is available as an option and features 10 speakers, including an on-board Soundbar.8 Comfort and functionality are enhanced by a new sliding armrest and a sporty two-spoke design steering wheel with a chamfered bottom, similar to a racing cars.
Designed and built in Europe, the Puma is manufactured at the Ford Otosan plant in Craiova, Romania.
