Forbidden Intelligence : bn poor women ending poverty traps

I started compiling these sections of www.EconomistDiary.com soon after 9/11 - from 2007 Bangladesh came main source though these solutions apply to tropical villages for most of 20th c with no electricity/no phones but then from 1995 the chance with partners to explore leapfrog models made possible by solar and mobile. Welcome to tour of the nearest development economics gets to miraculous entrepreneurial revolution

Up to covid19, has been practically no support for sharing these solutions from either side of the aisle in the english speaking countries (US UK) though a lot of support from the core families of the 3 kingdoms whose empires (accidentally) trapped most Asians until world war 2.

I make this remark as I would be delighted to more deeply reference dozens of engineers and health servants who most helped billion women empowerment in addition to those now parted like Fazle Abed, Paul Polak, Ezra Vogel, Deming, Borlaug ... . But beware to friends of AI20s.com it may be that direct endorsement by me isn't positive until all broken systems of caring for one another are fixed from every community up across oceans and borders of all sorts that were convenint to admister before poulations increased to 8 billion people and computing power has incrased to 1 million times in last decade

. I do however hope that if someone with chat plugin superpowers wishes; they train their computer on these cases- by all means updating or mapping diverse nuances which my co-eds and I have not achieved. Also some dates may be wrong by 2 years or so, I am delighted to be corrected. [email protected]

Our story starts dramatically in 1970: the worst ever locallised cyclone killed north of half a million people; and added as much as 1% direct starvation. At the time the only mini-campus left standing in the impacted region was Royal Dutch Shell HQ in what was still called East Pakistan. For many weeks this space became the camp of the most loving health servant doctors -this is relevant because during these weeks ideas that became oral rehydration (a solution saving lives of up to 1/3 infants in tropical villages) brewed up from the end of day chat. Remarkably as relief transitioned to recovery, Shell almost caused the assassination of their local ceo. That's because they ordered him to implement development with Pakistan's occupying army even as the organic revolution of independence of what became world's 8th most populous nation became unstoppable.

Ironically the oil industry's loss became the gain of 1 billion women who through 1970-2000 had no electricity and whose first goal was not to earn over 1+$ a day but increase life expectancy from low 40s (25 below world average of 1970s) to within 7 years of average (now mid 60s)> History shows that when a place achieves that particular extra generation, economic growth (brain development) across generations is possible and even sustainable.

Although 2001 is observable as start of many hate filled policies, fortunately on the west coast between the goof citizens of Clare & Francis _some of the families who had starred venture capitalism 1982 or personal computing networking in 1984 had held 65th birthday wish party spring 2021 of the engineer who had survived Royal Dutch Oil Company ignorance in 1971. By then Fazle Abed was occupied by part 2/3 of entrepreneurial designs bottom billion women needed microcommunity businesses to be designed round All the while Abed explained when it comes to SDGs you can empower female communities hiwver cut off to progress

1 finance

2 last mile food

3 last mile health

4 livelihood education

5 stewarding communities oh 100000 people to goal 5 empower giirs to be as productive , safe and life joy/artistic as males.

Abed's unique challenge transitioning from villages with only word of mouth to rural integration with citizen development is not well mapped in any text book i have ever seen. Before partners had to started to linkin the originally 90% rural nation, abed could design franchises run by village women to lead their community's value chain. But now he was in a race to build national value chain leadership of the core markets of goals 1 to 5. Since a majority of nations dont actaully have critical minerals of the industrial age. a country that doesnt design value chain of its core produce markets for all the peoples is a terrifying place to be trapped in. Thanks to Bangladesh Rural Advancement Coroprations rounf crop science, bangladesh became not only food sufficient but net exporter of food. by nurturing womens artistic heriages, poorest women managed to develp garment markets as an export success. And the 3rd way Kissinger's basket case nation turned the tide was to send its strongest young men to contract building abroad - the so called remittances market. While the failure of the world to value going green should be a big worry of parents anywhere, bangladeshi women have become experts in social business forestry if your peoples ever need to action learn that.

To take one amazing example on many health microfranchises: from around 1980 the most important rural health business in Bangladesh was a village woman doordashing on foot the 10 most basic medicines needed by 300 families within her microfranchise remit. During the turn of millennium as villages started being connected by solar and mobile,, brac needed to race to be the leading nationwide wholesaler of these basic meds. That way ownership of the basic medical wholesale chain stayed in trust of empowering poorest womens development. There are more thah a dozen so called natuonwide entreprise models that brac needed to win designs of nationally around turn of millennium.

When silicon valmey's smartest asked abed how they could most help ; he first asked them to agree an intelligence vision map with him. His female entrepreneurs could continue with what we niw call sdgs 1-5. But there were 3 www transformations esstial to millennial wellbeing beyond the poorest's reach unless the whole world came together to make millennials the first renewable generation

1 go green

2 design infrastructure so that no nation is landlocked or poverty locked

3 redesign overall stewardship of oceans and land to be peaceful and aligned to nature ai scince eg wherver cliate on biotech ai can be advanced by deeper data models than ever before possible

Abed did no tell his silicon valley friends when such future ops might be possible but in agreement with those in silicon valley who chatted with him from 2001 he agrreed to do following

offer foundational support on village health - abed networks had the locally nost effective solutions on cholera , water born diseases and on rural tuberculosis; additionally his last mile health servant networks were trained in innoculation and in intel tracking needed to minimise infectious diseases

IN his final years abed was aiming to set up ai partnerships including the best from the viewpoints of poorest billion women and their poorest billion men on

5.6 web3 world eg llm with female university graduates

5.5 climate ai partnerships -what World Bank leader Ajay Banga now calls afaptation livable planet

3.6 james grant school univerity partnership eg training nurses- celebrating med schools with zero tuition cost for doctors training for eg refugee situations; ending virus ai

4.6 abed's non -linear education system from pre-k to 20 saw universities research worldwide franchises previously omitted eg playschools as we as every way of accelerated pesonalised learning agency

2.6 clarifying which crop sectors need to be entrepreneurially and nationally in trust for feeding all the people - how this is impacted by cabron zero agricultural world

1.4 new cashless banking models 1.6 netherlands international hq for remittance and long term development partnerships prioritising tech visions of poorest

30 MOVEMNTS ABED PLANTED AT WWW.ABEDMOOC.COM OR IF YOU CLARIFY EXACTLY WHICH OF ABOVE PIECES YOU SEEK TO COOPERATIVELILY LINKIN AND WHETHER AI FROM KING CHARLES WORLD SERIES NEEDS TO BE INVOLVED ; in many cases abed was happy to separate best for world epiecentres from direct admin by his family - note how what many saw as his contribution to nobel economics prize 2019 being assigned to poverty lab abdul latif mit profs
