With the market flooded with foot creams claiming to work wonders, which foot cream is best for you?
We highly recommend using a foot cream with urea which smooths rough skin and kills the fungus responsible for Athlete’s foot.?
Whilst urea is found naturally in the skin, the urea used in skin care products is made synthetically in a laboratory and, with regular use, will prevent rehardening of the skin.
We’ve done the research so you don’t have to.?

As the skin is naturally thicker on the soles of the feet and, in particular, around the heel, we recommend that everyone regularly uses a foot cream.?Although it can be applied any time of day, your skin is extra absorbent after a bath or shower.

Follow up appointments are more important than most people realise.?They allow your Podiatrist to assess the effectiveness of your treatment and make timely interventions as required to ensure the best possible outcome.?In our experience, patients are more likely to attend a ‘free’ appointment than one they will have to pay for on the day in question.
