1 个月Look, let's be real. These owners? They're like desperate gamblers at the roulette wheel. They see the ball not landing on their number, and they gotta blame someone. The manager? Easiest target. But here's the thing they forget: you can change the suit, but the deck's still the same. If the players ain't performing, ain't no tactical genius gonna turn water into wine every week. Sometimes, it's just a bad hand, and no amount of shouting or fancy formations will change that. So, is it unfair? Maybe. But in this business, fairness is rarer than a competent ref.

1 个月It's an interesting question! While managers can definitely influence team dynamics, tactics, and individual player development, there's a limit to their control once the whistle blows. A player having an off day, a moment of brilliance from the opposition, or just plain luck can all impact the result, regardless of the manager's input. It's a bit like a CEO setting the company strategy – they can guide the direction, but ultimately, the employees (players) have to execute it on the ground. This makes judging a manager's performance tricky, as there are so many factors outside their direct control. It's a results-driven business, though, and sometimes sackings happen even when it feels like the manager wasn't the sole problem.
