I had a cool experience this morning having breakfast in the CFL Calgary Stampeders locker room (https://www.stampeders.com). Thank you to long standing friend Stu Laird for the invitation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stu_Laird).

Despite playing 13 seasons with the Stamps (and Grey Cup Championship), 31 years as a Fire Fighter and various other impressive pursuits, Stu’s greatest accomplishment remains winning a City & Provincial Bantom BB Hockey Championship with me in 1974-75!

A very impressive presentation with speeches from Stu, President Jay McNeil and Advisor/Consultant Hall of Famer John Hufhagel.

With Stu Laird (centre) and my great friend?Mark Kosak?(CEO at Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference). Mark is also on the executive for the Booster Club Annual Gala on April 29th. Details at?https://calgaryboosterclub.com.

In addition to a hot breakfast, attendees took home a game worn jersey and collector mug. Nice touch!
