There's a method to standing out online and becoming the go-to, recognized leader in your space. But it's not what you think.
It's not the latest Instagram update or TikTok trend.
It's not copying what this person, or that person, said in their viral LinkedIn post.
You can't find it in a template or a tactic.
Because it's already inside of you. But, because that seems like the simplest (and most obvious) answer, most people ignore that and chase the shiny things instead.

That's all good and great - until Reels disappear. Until platforms that are here today, are gone tomorrow.
And that's why I stress the importance of timeless business principles that'll not only keep you successful now, but sustain that success in the future. As an online business owner, you should absolutely be leveraging different platforms and strategies to increase your visibility and grow your audience. There's no doubt about that.
But the key, is not relying on them to build your authority.
If you truly want to become a standout brand, there are a few things you need to do to achieve household-name-status. And it goes back to authenticity, problem-solving, and community. Let's talk about it.

Step 1: Identify and illuminate your convictions
Think about to for a moment: what do you truly believe is possible for the future of your industry? What vision do you have that could drastically improve the lives of the people you were put here to serve? Those are your convictions. Lean into them.
Don't just talk about it - do something about it! Be courageous in going against what's "accepted" in your industry in order to provide a superior solution to the market. Because when you do this, though it may not get your post "viral" - it'll do something even better. It'll attract YOUR people. The people who have been waiting to stumble upon someone like you. This leads perfectly into step two.
Step 2: Fill a gap that no one else in your industry has filled.
Be more obsessed with your market than with your offer. That's a hard pill to swallow: you're proud of how amazing your program is, and the kind of results you've gotten clients in the past. But it's not about you.
When you focus your energy on solving THEIR problems, enabling them to see results FASTER than ever before, that's when you truly differentiate yourself. It's what makes people So, commit to using your convictions, your core beliefs, to filling a gap that no one else has stepped into.
Step 3: Harness the power of tribe.
Turn your convictions into community. The messaging you go to market with, the language you use - it has this stickiness factor. And that's what not only encourages people to stick around and continue interacting with your content - but to interact with each other. People love, more than anything, to feel like part of something bigger: and by creating that space, that "inner circle" for them is how you go from a message into a movement.
