Don't depends or Memorize, Know your Resources and Tools utilization in a proper way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never run to the short cuts, depending on any specific Tools/ language or anything! I love to explore, choose, or even create, search, analyze, and learn! Many bodies asked me still which tool should use, how many tools should know! It actually doesn't matter what you use! Even you can make one separate script or custom framework for yourself when you know how it works!!
The different project needs different solution and tests. The main thing is the project criteria, environment type, issues, and OutComes. You have to define first, what do you want, what would be the right one! You have to find it on your own!
When I have started my career and learning the SQA platform, In BD SQA field was not that popular at that time. Also, a lot of resources or tutorials were not so available on the internet as nowadays. And, Experts, professional, experienced senior people in QA also were unusual to find in a known circle.
I have started to work from my student life. Initially, I was working on development then I come to know about QA. It was not so easy before 8-10 years ago for being a QA in the BD market! I passed many nights to nights, days to days for surveying new things, searching new material, and learning more and more.(And still, I am trying to do for the betterment and learning more! It has no end!)
But the beginning was really battling! It was not so easy! I had to struggle a lot for developing all skills, for recognizing most of the questions/answers of mine. I read many books, I searched many where, googled a lot, I asked many Professional people in our country and abroad for my queries. I talked to many people unless I was not getting my answer. Nobodies or nothing can keep me stop! Sometimes, I was feeling too low, scattered, distracted, and confused.
That time I met with some true enthusiastic people in BD and Outside Of BD. I have still a connection with Some of them. Who has literally a very kind-hearted person And Really some senior brothers in QA I found as a light on my path. At least I got some Q/A or right way from them. Then, After that, I had to do more surveys and learn with those Answers and key!
In BD Shantonu Sarker bhai was one of my inspirations, he shows me the right way. I didn't see him yet even. But He always supports me virtually even, not directly, but his all posts and tutorials made me inspired and shows me the actual track.
One thing I learned and followed very well from then and he always said us also,
Never ever depends on any tools.
"A fool with a tool is still a fool."
And truly in my career timeline and all experiences I have learned these things very perfectly, where I see everything in very open ways. I did not have any boundaries.
Be open. for any tools, language, environment. Learn and Adopt. Trust me everywhere there are the same structure, Syntex, roots, or same way! just name, library, OS, or environment change! if you can understand the main theme, everything you can use!
Here, I really recalled again this,
AND I REPEAT IT:
"A tool does its job (more or less), the issue is what to test."
A Perfect thing that everyone should always say, believe, follow, and try.
