Welcome to the January 2025 edition of our newsletter.

?

Welcome to 2025! The team here at Research Strategies Australia hope you had a restful break with family and friends.

To kick off the new year we are sharing a new client story with you.?I was recently lucky enough to sit down with Alexandra Robertson, Director Research Operations at the Western Australia's Child and Adolescent Health Services (CAHS). Research Strategies Australia had the great privilege of working with CAHS to bring life to their research strategy over 2024, and it's great to hear from directly from Alexandra the impact that this has had. Below you will find links to both the sit-down interview and the case study

In company news, I am very happy to formally welcome Justin Placek to our team as Principal Consultant. Justin joins us after holding senior positions across a range of sectors, including heavy industry (Chief Financial Officer at Wideform), not-for-profit (General Manager for Healthy Cities Illawarra), and training & development. He is also completing a PhD in organisational behaviour at the University of Wollongong, exploring the influence of societal level goals on employee motivation, where he has spent time teaching strategy into their MBA program.

And as always, we have shared below our regular thought provoking insights from LinkedIn including analysis and strategic insights from our work with clients.

I hope you enjoy this edition, and please make a time to meet with me if you want to work with us or just learn more about anything you read below.

Enjoy reading,

Dr Tim Cahill, Managing Director.
