Food Rotation to stop food allergies
According to the National Institutes of Health, it is estimated that 15 million Americans have food allergies. Rotation diets are used to help identify the foods that you may allergic to eating. Going back to the 1930s, a rotational diet has been suggested as one way to identify and eliminate food allergies.
When you use a Rotation diet, you switch the foods that you eat on roughly a 4 day rotation so you’re not eating the same food proteins every day. (What you eat on day 1, you will not eat again until day 5.) And foods that are in the same family, are also rotated to be eaten at a 2 day minimum.
Just trying to remember what I ate yesterday is hard enough for me without having to keep track of the food family and rotating the families. This is why I wrote a Food Rotation Database. It contains the foods and their families, all I have to do is enter what I eat and it will track the dates and tell me my food choices that I can eat.
The database is available free, as a complied Access runtime. As a runtime program, you do not need the full Access program installed on your computer to run it.
The Access runtime program file can be downloaded from the Microsoft site https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=4438
