FOOD TO EAT IS BACK BABY!!!
Well guys I'm so very excited - my amazing food and TV project 'FOOD TO EAT' is about to start filming again. I've got to say..... I'm just a little bit excited!
I worked on the project for over five years. In that time I filmed over 200 youtube videos, 2 complete tv series and produced literally hundreds of hours of amazing food stories. I got to meet super awesome foodies, ripper chefs and have formed some wonderful lasting friendships throughout the food and media industries from right around the world - it truly was an inspirational, draining and creative project.
In September 2015 I decided that it may have run its course - it was time to put it on the shelf for a time and let it be. Life was taking me in another direction, another avenue of learning. I took the head chef role at Truffleduck catering in Geelong Australia, one of the most renowned caterers in Victoria. What an amazing time I have had, so much learning and reconnecting back with a wonderful team of chefs, something that I had forgotten about.
Its really funny how these really extreme times of learning lead us back, and remind us about why we do the things we do. In the past six months 'FOOD TO EAT' has taken a life of its own again - its seems not only did I need time to reacquaint myself with my cooking but the project needed time to grow and be reborn.
In March 2016, I was invited to join the incredibly talented Donna Benner at Swoon Talent out of Philly in the USA. www.swoontalent.com What an honour to be represented by a multiple Emmy award winning producer who truly believes in what I do and what FOOD TO EAT represents. I'm really looking forward to living the next instalment of this amazing food project!
In May we go off to shoot again. Awesome food in awesome places. I want so much to tell you of what will be in the show....... I guess you will have to stay tuned to find out www.foodtoeat.net
