From a young age I struggled with hedonistic behaviours that I dropped along the way but in later years still found me ramping up on the overeating or drinking too much alcohol.
Six-months ago I stopped drinking and since then I've got more fully present with how and what I'm eating.
every time I go shopping I make another new and healthy choice
I've stopped eating high sugar, high salt snacks but have dark organic chocolate that's at least 70% cocoa.
One of the biggest breakthroughs is eating more in the morning and less in the evening.
The area of #foodcravings #weightloss #stressfuleating #comforteating is what I've helped many clients with, which changes their relationships, their health, their clarity, their career focus, and their body-image.
Well before I found out why, I knew dieting was flawed, because for a long time I'd over-imbibed without piling on the pounds, before I stopped smoking in fact.
Of course that's because as with the drinking or eating scenario I mentioned earlier, we run to SOMETHING for cover when we're not dealing with those internal stressors.
It's more widely accepted now that overeating is a symptom of a weight issue rather than it's direct cause, after all if calorie counting and the like had worked over the last 80-yrs, yes it's 80-yrs since the first dieting research took place then we'd surely have got thinner instead of the opposite.
What myths have you busted around eating, food and dropping some weight?
