?Requirements

1) Participating products are to be new products developed or released after May 2023.

2) Participating products must?be edible processed food.

3) Applicants?are required to own the intellectual property rights of the participating products.?Distributors?or non-manufacturer?applicants must be authorized by the owner of the property rights for?submission.

4) Applicants should ensure that the submitted products comply with the laws and regulations of the country of origin or country of sale.

5) Each company may apply with more than one?product.

Process

Review?on SIAL Innovation?2023

An independent and authoritative jury composed of industry experts, scholars, media, and consulting agencies judged?the participating products. Their evaluation of products was conducted based on the principle of selecting innovative products that bring tangible benefits to consumers. This was focused on five dimensions, namely,?pleasure, health, wellness, convenience, and environmental protection. Ultimately, a total of 150 products, including many well-known brands, from China, France, South Korea, and other countries were shortlisted in Shanghai and Shenzhen. Products that won gold, silver, or bronze awards will be displayed in the SIAL Innovation?section of the SIAL Network in 2024.
