Food 4 Shabbos Chukat – 12,13 Tammuz - Israel at war!

Shalom from Safed,

?

In this week’s Parsha we are told how Hashem decrees upon Moshe Rabbeinu not to be the one to bring the Nation of Israel into the Land of Israel. This being due to the fact that Moshe, in the course of performing the miracle of supplying water for the Nation, hit the stone and did not just speak to the stone to bring forth water. The later would have been a greater sanctification of Hashem’s name. Even though this does not seem to be a severe sin, we see the results brought severe ramifications. From here the Torah teaches us how paramount the Mitzvah of sanctifying Hashem’s name is. How can this be? The great Moshe Rabbeinu does not follow through with Hasem’s commandment? The Rebbe explains that this is due to the fact that Hashem appointed Moshe to be the Loyal Shepard of his flock Israel. A Loyal Shepard is willing to put his own well being on the line to protect his flock. Had Moshe spoke to the stone, there would be a heavenly judgment upon the Jewish Nation. A stone, that does not speak or hear and does not have a need for livelihood fulfills the word of Hashem, how much more should the Jewish Nation harken to Hashem’s word. This is the same selflessness we find by the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe Rabbi Yosef Yitzchack Schneerson. He put his own very life on the line for the sake of maintaining, spreading and strengthening Judaism in communist Russia. This was the reason he was imprisoned and sentenced to death which miraculously was annulled to exile and finally led to his liberation. May this bring our liberation the true and complete redemption with the revelation of the Rebbe Shlita Melech Ha'Moshiach immediately NOW! For guidance and instruction on how to ?strive to be a true leader with sincere selflessness, ?with Joy and Happiness, you are invited to contact me.?

Unfortunately, it seems that this annexed message is as pertinent as it was last week as it is this week. For all those who have inquired. Thank you so much for your concern. Baruch Hashem My family and I are well, but we are distraught, to say the least, about the situation here. With the overwhelming amounts of missiles being shot at us including, during the Holiday and after, and miraculously not one caused any physical injury. The Jungle-like stampede of the Arabs in certain cities. The psychological trauma alone is so difficult to overcome. Despite these challenges, we are strengthening our belief and trust in Hashem with happiness and joy. Adding in our Prayers and Tehilim and especially in the addition of the giving of Tzedakah - Charity, as we are promised- the giving of Tzedakah speeds up the coming of the Geula - Redemption. We must thank Hashem for his miracles to finally merit the big miracle of Moshiach NOW!

It is my pleasure and honor to take this opportunity to bless everyone with a year of great success?spiritually?and materially?and for all your heart's wishes to be fulfilled for?the good. This being with Hashem's help, in the merit of my Birthday this coming Friday the 13th of Tammuz.

May we all have a Safe, Victorious, Healthy, and amazing Summer

Mazal Tov! Mazal Tov!

Good Shabbos and good Yom Tov,

Moshiach NOW!

?? ? This Shabbat we read the portion of?Chukat. This coming?Thursday and Friday July 18th and 19th, mark the anniversary of the release of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yoseph Yitzchak Schneerson, from soviet imprisonment and exile. ??The portion begins by discussing the Mitzvah of the red heifer, the ashes of which were used to purify people who had come into contact with dead bodies. The word?Chukat?means a statute. The commandments of the Torah are divided into three groups: testimonies, statutes, and judgments. Judgments (Mishpatim) are commandments which logic demands such as not murdering, helping the poor, taking responsibility for damages and respecting parents. Testimonies (Edot) are Mitzvot that are reasonable but are not logically inherent, such as eating Matzah to commemorate the Exodus, thereby strengthening our appreciation and dedication to our heritage and keeping the Shabbat to commemorate creation, thereby strengthening our faith in Hashem. Statutes (Chukim) are Mitzvot that are followed purely because they are te will of Hashem, such as not eating meat and dairy together and the law of the red heifer.?? ??These three categories represent different levels in our bond with Hashem. In the first, we only bond with Hashem when it fits in with our understanding. We give nothing of ourselves away. In the second, we give ourselves over as long as we are comfortable. We don’t go beyond our comprehension. In the Chukim, we give ourselves over entirely. This is also alluded to in the word Chukah. Chakikah in Hebrew means engraving. The difference between writing and engraving is that when we write, the ink and paper remain two entities. When we engrave, the letters become part of the stone. The Chukim represent our bond with Hashem that is like engraving: we are one with Him and He is one with us. ???All commandments are meant to be fulfilled in the manner of Chukim. Although the general Mitzvah is understood, we follow the details because it is the will of Hashem. This is alluded to in the blessing for Mitzvot:??first “Blessed are you Hashem our G-d who has made us holy with His commandments” (irrespective to the specific commandment) and thereafter “Who has commanded us to…” the individual act imbued with its significance. ???The red heifer is the epitome of the Chukim. It is the only way to purify someone who has been in contact with the impurity of a dead person. This because by giving of ourselves entirely to Hashem, our bond with Hashem is mutual and His sanctity imbues us and elevates us from any impurity. ???The Previous Rebbe was arrested for disseminating Judaism in Russia long after the communist revolution. The millions of Jews who maintained some Jewish identity throughout communist oppression are a result of his efforts. His resolve to continue his activities and the readiness of his followers to go in his path stem from the Torah being in a manner of Chakikah, total devotion. Although the opposition seemed insurmountable, their oneness with the Torah led them to continue regardless of the consequences. This brought forth the Divine miracle of his redemption. The Rebbe stressed that this was not only a personal redemption, but for all those who hold the Torah dear and all who are Jews. considering the tremendous risks, he took to maintain and spread Judaism under overwhelming opposition, it is a time to rededicate ourselves both in our own Judaism and in fortifying spreading and sharing?Torah?and Judaism.?It is also an auspicious time to pray for salvation from personal challenges. ???The Rambam notes that nine red heifers have been brought in our history and the tenth will be brought by Moshiach. May he speedily arrive and bring purification to the entire world immediately NOW!? ?

This is an auspicious time to demand the true and complete Geulah with the revelation of the Rebbe Shlita Melech Ha'Moshiach NOW immediately!

It is the?custom?to write a letter to the Rebbe through the "Igrot Kodesh" - Letters of the Rebbe. This forms and strengthens the bond and connection between us and the Rebbe. This is also an opportunity to ask?for?the Rebbe's blessing and advise?in all?fields?of our lives. For?support in this you may be assisted with this site: ?https://www.igrot.com/english/
