A Fond Farewell

After more than four years with RTI International, I have decided to leave my current role with the organization. This was an especially difficult decision to make.

In 2016, I started at the organization as a contractor working as a Recruiting Assistant, and later supporting the University Collaboration Office. When that contract ended, I moved to a full-time permanent position with one of RTI’s research units as a Project Management Specialist. During that time, I was able to learn about RTI’s business model, research and clients. I have had the privilege of working on projects with impact all over the world, including China, Abu Dhabi and Thailand. In early 2018, I rejoined the University Collaboration Office as the Internship and Student Engagement Specialist.

I am thankful to my colleagues for teaching me and inspiring me. I hope I have been able to do the same for them as we worked together to advance RTI’s mission of “improving the human condition by turning knowledge into practice.”

The next step of my professional journey will allow me to explore recruitment and talent acquisition. I am very excited about my future while I continue to be excited about all the things that will be accomplished here at RTI.

I truly believe that one of RTI’s greatest assets (if not the greatest) is its people. This is a special place and I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of this organization. In addition to fantastic colleagues, RTI has provided me with friendships I cherish deeply.

Thank you, all, for your support of my endeavors, both personal and professional. I look forward to staying in touch.
