When you're experiencing FOMO, you might feel like you need to train harder and more frequently to keep up with your gym buddies or the latest trends. That's a recipe for disaster. You're gonna end up injuring yourself and setting yourself back, and that's not gonna get you anywhere. A study in the Journal of Sports Sciences found that athletes who experience FOMO tend to train harder and risk injury more often.
