Holding back has never been my strong suit. Many years ago when I first started networking I was slapped in the face with reality that not everyone is going to respect or accept me as a Women in Business. However, it was at that defining moment that I realized that the only person that was going to level up my game in business was me. That "moment" was about 16 years ago and I have never looked back.

Truth is, I have evolved in business from year to year over the last twenty years. The inspiration that surrounds me and the desire to achieve my own aspirations has led me right to this very point of my career. When I get asked "What do I do?" for a living, it becomes a tough answer because I #hustle in all areas of business. My first answer is that "I Am A Businesswoman." I am a business owner first (99') but I have many areas in which I do work. So there is no confusion on what my background is, here are some quick points of reference over the last 20+ years:

Entrepreneur - photographer, graphic designer, marketing, media, advertising, print business magazine owner/publisher/Editor (Exclusive), PR ninja, columnist, blogger, business networking host, vlogger, online publisher, editor, Online business magazine owner (Elevate Magazine), podcaster and YouTube show host to what I love most, Real Talk, Real Business, Real People.

I am not just a Director of Marketing, PR & Administration at SVN as you can see from my "Title" - Well hell let's face it, my title does not even justify all the things I really do at SVN. The 16 years of experience in my career is what added the value to this position when I first joined back in 2015. I oversee and direct three (3) departments, which is basically 3 full-time jobs wrapped into one without blinking. I have enjoyed bringing my expertise to a commercial real estate brokerage that has been increasing total transaction volume year-after-year with the collaboration efforts of other executive level training in place. We are a top producing brokerage in the State of Arizona and rank in the TOP 10 of all SVN offices in our international network. It is with my experience & work ethic that I am able to marketing & promote on a completely different level than most people in my position.

I built my OWN brand. No one helped me to get where I am today. I busted my ass during every hour and multi-tasked at light speed in order to get everything done in a 5-day week and some even went unnoticed or unappreciated too. I worked when other people were sleeping. I collaborated with others when everyone was thinking about themselves. I established relationships with other professionals while other people worked behind their desks. There are many things I did to establish my brand and to let others know what I stand for.

The media outlets have shown me so much support in CRE over the last several years. I have been very blessed to have that sort of support from other media publishers and editors and perhaps that is why our bonds are so strong is because I come from both sides of this industry. What I found is helping other people learn the same way I did much more valuable to me and my desire to help people succeed is important to me. Helping people does not take away from my previous accomplishments and will never stop me from future achievements but why not help people in the process.
