Focusing on what matters.

Looking back on the steps we have taken as a regional organization during the last year, I am deeply proud of what the team has achieved together. The structure around the strategy we put in place, in addition to the mindset transformation made, have shaped us to become a more focused organization to customer satisfaction, to continuously deliver per commitment, and to become a safer and a more attractive place to work.?

As I think about the transformation we made during last year, 5 areas of focus stand out:??

1. Focusing on customer satisfaction. Personally, I have visited more than 40 customers of major public and private utilities, and met with government officials from various countries to listen and understand their challenges. What allowed to drastically improve the situation is undoubtedly the fantastic teamwork across the global organization within the #GasServices business area. This brings a sentiment of belonging to a great team and well-functioning organization.?
2. Unleashing the passion of our people. I had the opportunity to travel to many of our offices, factories, and remote sites across the whole region. I have also spent significant time in the field with our service people performing major works. This is the best reward we can provide to our people to show our gratitude, our recognition and respect for their deep know-how and dedication to our customers.??
3. Driving the organization to continuously deliver. Our team have been delivering outstanding results over the last years. This year has been exceptional on all aspect: financially, operationally and EHS. Also, after we succeeded last year to sign the biggest Power project globally for the business, we booked this year the biggest Digital project for the company. It is impressive ?to see our teams striving and doing their best using our well-established tools and processes, to solve customer operational issues. When customers receive such exceptional service, they continue to rely on us for their future needs.?
4. Driving change: Our project 'Pegase' using 6-sigma spirit, has been a game-changer. More than 160 actions were generated, with more than 90 quick hits implemented, we have seen a clear change of governance, mindset, and ownership. The regional and execution units are demonstrating that change is part of our DNA, and the need to adapt to evolving market expectation is vital to maintain our high-level standard of services. ??
5. Promoting Gender Diversity. This topic has always been close to my heart. We launched a major program (EVA) encompassing many local initiatives and actions to generate more equality, nurture our female talents, and provide them with opportunities to excel. Every leader in the region is fully committed to serve this great purpose. Our willingness to impact society and promote gender diversity is immense.?

It has been an intense year. Today, and I am extremely confident that our next steps will continue to build upon our success and pave the way for a bright future.
