When it comes to employer branding strategies, the “employer brand” is often the most complex and comprehensive element of an overall employee engagement plan. This is because it touches on every aspect of what we do professionally and as people: from how we incentivise our employees to stay with us, through to how we treat both each other and those outside the organisation.
There has been a shift towards more subtle and personal branding by employers. A lot of employees want to know what their employer is about, the culture and mission of the company so they can be more confident in their job and work experience. Employers are allowing their employees to be more visible with their employers online presence, such as social media accounts, blogs, websites etc. By allowing this visibility it helps create brand trust that also helps with retention of key staff members by creating a more cohesive workforce.

2 年'Employer Branding' Theoretically good concept but employer and HR should work upon why we needs to develope such programs... It totally depends on the policies of the companies. During Hiring any candidate if He is strong and if he doesn't have reference attitude of HR changes and even if candidate is with poor profile get shortlisted with extra reward just because he comes through reference. I have read Many case studies where situations are given of attrition and questions asked how to overcome them, I think good candidates get demotivated during the HR round, But there are some good HR who actually work as HR and this comes because of Employer policies. HR should be an independent pillar. I observed that some of the HR are actual HR, Some work under pressure from someone they can't even take to stand for a strong candidate means this is not blame to HR but to the organisation and hence questions arise Why employer branding is required.....
