Focused Hustle is How to Beat Failure

This is a question I ask myself every day. There is always some kind of distraction that pops up, something that shows on my feed or a text message from a friend that sends me down a rabbit hole.
Focus has become a lost art. People that are focused get things done… FAST. Have you ever heard that most 9-5 jobs have only 2 hours of true work to do everyday but because distractions are spread across 8 hours?
When I am focused I can knock out WEEKS of content, or writing or any type of work. When I am distracted and trying to get something done I move at a snail like pace.
Sometimes distractions are inevitable. Like when a really bad life event happens. But this is not the common one. The common distractions that we face on a normal day come from a lack of understanding of your priorities and the strategies to do them.

Focused Hustle Is How To Beat Failure
Entrepreneurship is risky. There is no guarantee to any strategy. Affiliate marketing, UGC and content creation even with the best strategies have no guarantee it will work. Knowing that I always think of trying to figure out a system or volume of effort I could quantify to make sure I succeed.
Think of how many people you know personally who have ever mentioned “I want to start a podcast” or “I want to be a YouTuber” who give up within the first year. No matter what it is I’m working on I always like to think of some type of formula that could guarantee my efforts.
For example I teach a concept called the 90 Day Content Creation Challenge. It involves an insane amount of content, 3 unique videos created each day posted on 4 different platforms. By the end of that 90 day challenge that would mean a total of 1080 video posts! That is INSANE! But I also think it would be insane if that did NOT produce results and pretty much everyone I know that has taken the 90 Day Content Creation challenge has radically improved their results in social media and business.
Another example comes from the concept of applying to gigs as a freelancer. I mention a challenge to apply 10 times a day to places for 30 days. At the end of one month people who do this would have applied to 300 places! That is INSANE… but it would be more insane if after all this effort you do NOT make money or results. So far everyone that has done this strategy has created tremendous success for themselves and income.
We all know entrepreneurship is risky and that there is guarantee that it will work so that is why I like to think in terms of the opposite of this fact.?
“What would be insane if I did XYZ and did NOT get results!?”
If I posted 1080 times in 90 days and did not get results that would be insane… unrealistic.
If I applied to 300 places for gigs in one month and did not get results that would be insane… unrealistic.
If I posted 1,000 review videos and did not get results that would be insane… unrealistic.
See how you flip the equation? Whatever it is you’re working on, think of your own work ethic equation that if performed all out would make it very unlikely that you would not fail.
Then… do it.
