???♂? DO NOT underestimate the power of proper technique! ???♂?
Incorporating full range of motion (ROM) exercises into your workout routine can lead to increased muscle strength , power , and hypertrophy.
Not to mention, it can also reduce the risk of injury. ??
Studies have shown that performing full ROM exercises results in greater muscle activation compared to partial ROM exercises .
So full ROM = better muscle growth!
Let’s take the LEG PRESS as an example.
To fully engage your leg muscles, you must flex your knees until your mobility allows you too, getting the knees close to your chest. Fully lengthening your quads.
Then, pause for maximum muscle tension and reverse the movement extending your legs to fully contract the quads This movement pattern ensures that the entire muscle is activated and challenged throughout the movement. ??
Different exercises require different ranges of motion to fully lengthen and contract the target muscles.
Make sure to incorporate full ROM into your workouts to see maximum results. ??
Let’s crush those gains!????
