“Focus, Simplicity, Digitalization”

“Focus, Simplicity, Digitalization”

“Focus, Simplicity, Digitalization”

These are three key takeaways from my second year journey in leading Grameen Danone. Now approaching exciting times full of challenges?and roadblocks (to remove) in this aspiring journey of creating impact. To elaborate further-????

  • ?Focus is pivotal to instill discipline in operations and consistently strive for sustainable performance. Focus is also the core in navigating in difficult times.
  • Simplicity supports to bring the mass onboard and keep on chasing the right priorities. We often lose track while focusing on precision of designs forgetting the actual implementation.
  • Digitalization supports to generate information to formulate insights and enable agile decision making while keeping holistic business dynamics in the consideration.

?The following was the reflection summary at the end of my first year with Grameen Danone (as an example of how my thought process has evolved over the period of last one year):??

  1. Tipping point strategy
  2. Developing and enabling talent pipeline
  3. Objectively selfishness
  4. Accountability by design
  5. Umbrella leadership style
  6. Showing vulnerability
  7. Understanding global contexts in local reality
  8. Simplicity

Approaching the third year now with the focus on implementation first (& fast). Stay tuned for more updates on the journey.???

Splendid ! I really loved no. 6; Showing vulnerability. So many people are afraid of being vulnerable while they climb on the ladder, whereas being vulnerable makes us learn, unlearn and relearn.

Great write up, Bhaiya! But, it seems like in 2nd year you have become a bit more objectively selfish in terms of writing- as I find your previous year's reflection post more enticing! I hope you would give more focus to it- so that we get to know more about this amazing journey from you more frequently! Really loved your simple writing!
