FOCUS !!!

If you have read the above line with Focus, you could have found the 6th word is written wrong as Foucs. If you caught that in the very first attempt, then your Focus is great.

To begin with a story I have heard in my childhood.

Once upon a time there lived a king who's travelling on his horse along with his troop to XYZ kingdom for an official visit. There were no GPS or any G Maps to trace the route in those days, they stopped at a place and saw a fisherman who sat on the bank of the river and waiting for the fish to bite the bait, He seemed to be very silent and with patience watching the bait.

The king ordered his soldier to check with the fisherman for the route to XYZ kingdom, so the soldier went to the fisherman and asked him "Hey You , can you tell us the route to XYZ kingdom", The fisherman was silent and didn't respond to the soldier. Soldier went back to the king and told that he didn't respond to him.

Now the king asked his minister to check with the fisherman , so the minister went to the fisherman and with little arrogance asked him " Hey You, Am the Minister of a top kingdom and am ordering you to tell us the route to XYZ kingdom", again the fisherman was silent and didn't respond to the Minister.  Minister went back to the king and told that he didn't respond to him.

Now the King himself decided to go and check with the man directly, with lot of anger and arrogance, the king asked " You Idiot, if you don't tell me the route to XYZ Kingdom. I will slit your throat and you will die bleeding", The fisherman was again silent and didn't respond even to the king. King now lost his patience and took his sword and raised against the  fisherman, suddenly he stood up and told "MY LORD, TAKE LEFT FROM HERE AND AFTER FEW MILES YOU NEED TO TAKE RIGHT AND THEN STRAIGHT AND THERE IS THE XYZ KINGDOM".

Every one there was surprised and began to think what made him sit so silent when Soldier, Minister and King asked him for the first time. The king asked the Fisherman the reason behind his silence for not responding before he took the sword.

Fisherman then replied " Your Highness I am a Fisherman and my duty is to catch the fishes and sell them in the market, and am doing my duty and my Focus is on the fish and waiting for them to bite the bait so that I can collect them in my bag. My Complete Focus is on my Work and that is the reason I couldn't listen to anyone until I catch the fish and even now when you opened your sword , I suddenly saw a fish caught the bait and I collected it in my bag and then responded to you

I know I could have dead for not responding you but sir, My work is my First priority and I need to do that with Focus.

King understood the Fisherman's commitment and Focus towards his work and appreciated with a gift and left the place.
