Focus on the hype - it has worked before
KPMG recently presented its Pulse survey research. Separating hype from reality is one of our focus areas. We often praise companies that take realistic and conservative paths. But in fact, it is those companies that focus on the hype (e.g., cloud and AI 5 years ago) that are now separating themselves from the pack today. Now may be the time to go all in on blockchain and other innovative technologies which are looking for new homes if you want your firm to be on the Olympic podium in 4 years.
