FNF Leadership Scholarships 2024-2025 are open!

Today we have opened applications for our next round of UK Leadership Scholarships, starting in spring 2024.?A once-in-a-lifetime experience for nurses and midwives from all sectors to develop their leadership potential, their career and importantly make a difference to clinical and health outcomes. Worry and Concerns Report for NHS England

NHS England recently commissioned FNF to examine the barriers which prevent clinical staff from raising worries and concerns about a deteriorating patient. Evidence suggests that organisational culture, professional hierarchies, and the nature of leadership in healthcare environments are the three key factors behind this reluctance. Our findings highlight?the importance of psychological safety which is highly influenced by authentic leadership in overcoming these barriers. Find out more here.

INMA funding announcement

We are delighted to announce that 18 UK-based International Nursing and Midwifery Associations (INMAs) have been awarded new funding to assist their members with professional support and pastoral care. Thanks to funding from NHS England, this is the third round of the small grants programme that has been providing support to nurses and midwives newly arrived in England to work for the NHS. Reaching 100 members means reaching over 242,000 midwives, nurses & students!

We now have over 100 FNF Academy Members including Integrated Care Systems, Healthcare Trusts, Military, Charity, Private and Voluntary care providers, and Higher Education Institutions. This means over 242,000 nurses, midwives and students can take advantage of the benefits of membership!
