1. It’s a 24/5 job. You have to be prepared for working in different time zones.

2. You must know the product. Having a viable knowledge of what you’re communicating with the counterparts to be booked is a major factor for BAU.

3. Maintain a good relationship with them. Whenever there are breaks in the transactional or positional break, you have to reach out to your counterparts for them to book the missing trades

4. You have to know the business. Having a brief knowledge of where the trades are coming from would make you better understand the business further. It’s not always what’s in front of you is the whole job, you have to know the lifecycle of the business.
