The Federal Maritime Commission 's Maritime Transportation Data Initiative (#MTDI) aims to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the U.S. maritime industry by leveraging the power of #data while also setting in place the framework and alignment protocols to allow independent players to retain their interests. This simultaneously while contributes to the greater good of the flow of cargo within the USA, and then the world abroad and enables more supply chain players to get the valuable data they need, more accurately, and at the right time.

It can help inform go-to-market saas strategy and can uncover new product and marketing opportunities. For the full details, direct from the govt, I encourage you to shed some of those biases, follow, and stay tuned to this initiative (on top of all the other ones the Commissioners and their team are also working on): https://www.fmc.gov/fmc-maritime-transportation-data-initiative/ ????♀?

Connections are Key (+ HOW they're made are also major keys ??)
Overall, the MTDI presents a significant opportunity for modern, SaaS technology companies in the #supplychain and #logistics space to leverage data and collaborate with industry stakeholders to drive innovation, get rid of a lot of business headaches, and ultimately improve supply chain and commercial efficiency in the maritime and intermodal industries.
Everyone is connected and wants to be connected. The execution of how these relationships, different players, and product data flow between parties is what separates the good from the great.
