The life-saving charity is asking local individuals and businesses to join in with some festive fun while raising vital funds for the cause...
Last year, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust (EHAAT) attended 210 missions and provided service around the clock during the festive season. To help continue that good work, the team and its mascot, Maldon Grinch, are encouraging people to provide a helping hand.
The charity has launched a Festive Pyjama Challenge, which is a fun way for people to get involved and raise funds. So why not go food shopping in your onesie? Or, perhaps your colleagues could take part in UK Charity Week’s Wear your Festive PJs to Work Week on the 5 and 6 December. And don’t forget to share photos on social media…
Emma Barker is head of income generation at EHAAT: “Our committed team remains dedicated to save lives when someone is having the worst day of their life — even on Christmas Day. That’s why we need support from people and businesses this festive season.
“We would like to say a big thank you to all those who are supporting us this year and we are appealing to the local community to help us in any way they can this Christmas.” Sign-up via EHAAT’s JustGiving page to donate. It’s the season for giving, after all.
Your next event can support this great cause. Just host it with Ticketpass. For every ticket sold, 50% of the booking fee will be donated back to the charity. What are you waiting for? Join us today.
