Flying Our Lab's & the South African Flag in the USA

From flashy flags to nifty keyrings packed with QR codes containing brochures, Cytespace labs “rocked” our debut at last week’s global conference, proving why these conference events are a must for any company determined to charting new horizons (which also happened to be the conference theme). ?

Nestled in a buzzing corner of the exhibition hall, our booth was a hotspot for activity—drawing in not just curious onlookers, but expats craving a taste of South African camaraderie and of course, the most exciting moment was when you and the person you are talking to both realize the mutual interest and gap that can be filled through collaboration. ??Note to self:? “Next time have CDA’s ready to sign on the spot!”

Our take on what the secret is to making a successful exhibition debut? ??It wasn’t just the nifty give aways (though who doesn’t love a handy cellphone pouch or a patriotic flag?), but the connections made. ?We didn’t just attend; we mingled, networked, and handed out keyrings aka brochures faster than you can say “You need an Africa Footprint.”

Speaking of knocking introductions out of the park, next to us was Merclinco, also making their U.S. conference exhibitor debut with huge success. They weren’t just there to sip coffee and nod along to mutual interests—they came to do business, showcasing with pride and passion their Site Management Organization service offering within Africa.

By the end of it all, we left feeling elated and positive with the outcome of attending and exhibiting at the DIA 2024 Conference. ?We ticked off our goals: being noticed, connecting with movers and shakers, and snagging leads that could turn into tomorrow’s big clients.? It’s proof that while conferences may sound like all work and no play, they’re actually a playground for growth, innovation, collaboration and maybe even a bit of proud flag-waving fun.
