Fly Times 03.20.20
Happy first day of Spring! And it's raining! Pretty typical for where we live and we are thankful because it makes everything bright green this time of year! We are in fact still flying and able to conduct business as usual, prepping for more ground shoots with the green popping and remaining vigilant on our flight photos!
As news of the COVID Virus is updated daily, we along with the rest of the country are doing our best to stay isolated and sanitized. Most of our work is done solo or with one other person and we communicate with clients already by email and phone. We have individual offices and are dedicated to keeping our clients images coming to them.
This week, Johnny captured a bridge being installed near I24 in Antioch, TN. Despite intermittent showers, we still had enough cloud coverage to fly the drone and get some progress shots. The regular flights are being moved around like crazy due to the weather (again!) but so far only one is delayed by more than a few days. Rick will be in the air in Middle Tennessee this weekend and next week. Then off to Knoxville!
In Georgia, the sun is finally out!! We got several flights in this week including Macon, GA and our Hartsfield flight. With the travel industry slowing down, it is getting a little bit easier to get into that airspace. Although if it was up to us, we would rather see more passenger planes taking off!
As we go on with our business, we are keeping an eye on our industry and the decisions it faces. Stay safe and sanitized and love your neighbors! (from a distance ;)
