"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will land among the stars"
I dream. I aspire. I am inspired. I perspire to acquire my desires. And sometimes your desires backfire. Do you have what it takes to warm yourself in the fire? There are always consequences.
Dream. Aspire. Low aim and pedestrian thinking is the path more travelled . Most people play it safe and keep it all bland and bandied up. They don't know the sorrow of defeat; they are complete strangers to thrill of hard-fought victory.
This tale ,however, is different. They soar gallantly high in the sky. They flew feathers glues to their flying equipment, the new technology they had contrived. They glided in the sky and forsook all inhibitions. No checks and balances. No gatekeeping. No limits. Something deep inside signaled warnings. "You're getting too close to the sun!" They ignored all the warning signs, even as they slowly come unglued with no clue. The acclaim of the crowd cheered them on. The lines were already blurred. There were no limits to their minds.
'"Not in the clamor of the crowded street, not in the shouts and plaudits of the throng, but in ourselves, are triumph and defeat.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
The Lessons
- We are lost if we ever lose our moral compass
- Hubris or ambition? My friend , that is the question.
- Limits are there to help you navigate. Acknowledge them. Overcome them.
- Fly high all the same. Low aim is almost a crime.
- Manage your risks early
